Narva Hotels and Accommodation

There are many hotels within Narva to suit all price ranges, although budget lodging and accommodation is noticeably scarce. In recent years, a large number of the cheaper hotels in Narva have been redecorated and spruced up their image, which has resulted in a price rise for some.

Top-end accommodation is in excellent supply in Narva and many of these hotels are often part of a recognised brand or chain, or operated by Western management. Interestingly, those simply prepared to politely ask for a little discount may well be surprised to find that a good deal of hotels will happily oblige.

Where to Stay

A popular choice with pleasant views across the Narva River, the historic Hotel Vanalinn is located on the Koidula Tänav and dates back to the 17th century, featuring high wooden ceilings and plenty of character. Further notable accommodation in Narva can be found on the Lavretsovi Tänav, where the King Hotel remains an excellent choice and is conveniently next to the acclaimed Gulliver Pub.

One of the most popular choices for budget travellers looking for extremely cheap accommodation in this part of the city is the Mereranna Hostel. Outside of the city itself and located to the north, in the nearby holiday resort of Narva Joesuu, Mereranna Hostel enjoys a rather special beachfront setting, along the Aia. Also close by is the Guesthouse Valentina, and the Narva Joesuu Sanatoorium, a historic hotel resembling a white cruise liner and featuring good spa facilities.
